Job Description

Prepares airline seats and or seat parts for shipment to customers by performing the following duties.

Must be able to check materials being shipped against related paperwork.

Must be able to prepare bill of lading and other related shipping documents.

Must be able to box and load seat on truck.

Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.

Employee is responsible for determining if she/he has adequate information and materials to complete tasks as directed.
Selection of methods and sequences within limits of the specific jobs assigned.
Decisions/Problems referred to supervisor
Problems with equipment or machinery.

Incorrect documentation.
Training issues.
Job Requirements

 High School diploma or equivalent required.

 One to three years of related experience required – equivalent education and background may be substituted for experience in some areas.

 Requires a thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures.

 Must be able to read and understand route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

 Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

 Employee must be able to obtain and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
