APS is a leading provider of aircraft propeller system maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) services to the regional, commercial, military and general aviation markets. Primary services include: MRO of aircraft propeller systems, selling of new and reconditioned OEM propeller system parts, airframe parts sales, parts manufacturing and customer training services.

This is an onsite position-not remote.

Objective:

Increase sales and coordinate manufacturing opportunities within the aerospace business unit.

Reports To:

Director of Sales and Marketing

Essential Functions:

Develop and meet an annual sales plan that includes objectives and targets for acquiring new customers as well as achieving growth of the existing customer base.
Develop separate objectives and plans for all services and parts sold.
Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Prepare and submit required periodic reports as requested by senior management in a standardized format.
Monitor and assess APS competition, specifically in areas of customer base, pricing, product offerings, customer service performance, branding, and promotional material.
Recommend pricing strategies based on current data and customer history for both individual transactions and multi-year/multiple product RFQ’s.
Identify new product sales opportunities based on contact with new and existing customers.
Coordinate and improve manufacturing quoting and workflow processes.
Assist Customer Service in resolving customer issues, complaints and making recommendations for resolution to Senior Management when necessary.
Provide service to existing and new accounts by supporting the organization’s Customer Service Department with pricing data and scheduling information as necessary.
Provide leadership to the complete product, service and parts team by providing accurate information and facilitating client communications regarding the products and services of APS.
Develop and recommend sales strategies within the assigned areas including supporting data, action steps and strategy rationale.
Support Accounts Receivable with client interaction as requested.
Provide forecasting information supporting the preparation and monitoring of the budgetary process.
Recognize and recommend strategies to enhance the financial performance of APS.
Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Maintain and improve professional and technical knowledge through education, workshops, OEM and BJT professional societies, and local programs.
Demonstrate willingness to accomplish additional duties as assigned and actively participate in the APS team environment.

Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience in aviation products manufacturing and sales

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Salary Range:

$60k – $75k DOE with commission
