Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services Inc. is a leading provider of free-swimming and tethered in-line inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators, currently servicing the North American market. About You

You will represent Onstream professionally while working with clients to identify needs and add value through enhanced assessment of data and reporting solutions. This position is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the continued evolution of the enhanced data products and services that Onstream provides to our clients.

Responsibilities

The ILI Integrity Engineer is a key technical resource within the Enhanced Analysis & Integrity Services group responsible for development and delivery of a suite of analysis and reporting deliverables to clients wishing to extract more value through enhanced integration and further integrity assessments of ILI data. A thorough understanding of clients needs relative to integrity assessments and reporting in the United States is required for this role.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Meeting potential and existing clients to generate new leads and sales
Interfacing with clients to understand needs and provide technical support for complex analysis events
Identifying scope of work and preparing written proposals
Conducting risk assessments, pipeline integrity and engineering assessments (e.g.: corrosion growth assessments, deformation assessment using caliper data, bending strain and pipeline movement assessment using high resolution inertial data)
Producing high quality technical reports and other deliverables
Performing quality assurance checks and approval of other integrity engineers’ reports
Integration and assessment of datasets from multiple sources (historical inspection alignment / dig validation integration / third-party inspection data alignment)
Detailed understanding of contemporary ILI technology, and emerging reporting deliverables within the MFL, Geometry and IMU space
Identification of new business opportunities as they arise and through industry knowledge and research
Continued development and evolution of enhanced deliverables within this space
Providing technical oversight and leadership for complex issues as they arise within the US analysis teams
Understand regulations, standards, and contemporary integrity work practices in US jurisdictions
Seek synergistic opportunities with other Mistras (parent-company) business units
Train and mentor Junior Integrity Engineers and Enhanced Data Analysis staff as required
Prepare and support deliverables using well-developed written and verbal communication skills; including report writing
Work independently and as a part of a team, handling many documents/files simultaneously, while under strict time constraints to meet tight deadlines
Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%)
Any other duties as requested

Qualifications

A passion for helping operators solve pipeline integrity challenges and for advancing the pipeline integrity industry in general
5+ years experience with ILI Analysis, pipeline integrity and data management
Knowledge of and experience with pipeline integrity standards and regulatory requirements (ASME B31.G, B31.4, B31.8; API 579, 1163, 1183 RP; 49 CFR § 195 etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
Class C Texas Driver’s License (or equivalent)
Passport for international travel (asset)
Clear understanding of end-user requirements, and integrity management methodologies
Strong understanding of ILI data (MFL/Geometry/IMU) and technology
Self-Driven with ability to work diligently and achieve results with minimal supervision
Able to manage multiple competing requests and deliverables, with a service mentality
Complex reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills and an understanding of the technical aspects of data flow through the ILI operation
Effective communication skills in both oral and written form; including report writing, customer presentations, keen attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with others, both inside and external to the Company
