What Will You Be Doing?

The Day of Departure Analyst works actively with airports across the network to resolve inventory related operational problems and issues.

Essential Functions
Responsible for providing primary interface with airports and System Operations Center (SOC) to resolve inventory related operational problems and issues.
Pro-actively coordinate and implement accommodation plans for passengers whose travel has been disrupted by over sales, flight delays, cancellations or irregular operations.
Proactively identify oversold flights, follow the denied boarding procedures, provide protection and issue compensation.
Secure accommodation options for passengers inconvenienced by controllable delays, cancellations, over sales or downgrades, incl. the assigning other airline protection as necessary.
Monitor all on-going station processes (check-in and boarding process), assessing potential departure delays. Monitor flight progress, updating flight information as necessary.
Notification of passengers, via electronic communications, of known extended delays, cancellations and downgrades
Perform manual automated check in functions, answer calls from/to stations, process re-accommodations for all equipment swaps, and block inoperative seats
Perform booking refunds within policy’s and monitor refunds solicited by airports (PNRs on queue RFQ64)
Assist airports with special requests
Provide support for domestic and international locations
Provide clarification on Frontier policy and procedure
Handle incoming phone calls or chat messages from airport agents
Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and efficient manner
Anticipate and respond to special operational needs as required

Other Functions
Communicate and coordinate all accommodation plans and passenger information with Airport/Station personnel.
Inform Day of Departure Supervisor of potential/on-going Airport and passenger issues.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of airline operations experience or equivalent in education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Ability to multi-task under high stress, time sensitive conditions.
Self-driven, strong decision-making skills leading to success, ability to plan, implement and manage situations
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with a wide variety of individuals.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as well as extended hours outside of the scheduled shift

Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, printer

Work Environment
This role can be based at our headquarters in Denver, CO or anywhere in the United States via a remote work arrangement (periodic travel to Denver from a Frontier-serviced city required)
If remote, you must be able to follow our remote work policies, including ability and comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection
If headquarters-based, typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled

Generally, not required.

General Direction: The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
